Zuhra Arabian Horses - located near Brisbane, AUSTRALIA.Breeder of Purebred Arab horses with Egyptian, Russian & Hawley bloodlines, mostly, used for showing, endurance and breeding.  Owned by Liz Christensen.Zuhra - Arabic for "beauty, brilliance"

Farm principal Liz Christensen has been breeding and showing purebred Arabian horses since before 1990, over 20 years ago.  Previously with the Zeehan Arabian stud, Liz established Zuhra Arabians in 2003.  It is located on hour west of Brisbane (Queensland, Australia).

Bloodlines mainly revolve around Hawley horses, Egyptian and Russian bloodlines, with mixes of Polish, Spanish and Crabbet also.  Currently there are 5 purebred mares/fillies, 3 purebred geldings, 1 yearling colt and 1 foal anytime soon.

 Liz's husband James Christensen competes in endurance riding. Once our 3 young sons are old enough, it is hoped that all 5 of the Christensen clan will participate in endurance.

What We Do

Breeding beautiful, typey purebred Arabian horses with fabulous temperament and movement. 

Successfully competed in endurance and the show ring. 

Young stock and mature performance horses occassionally for sale.  Please check our SALE page.

Also breeding English Pointer dogs (since 2002) under the prefix "Zuhraan".  Exceptional family dogs, great with kids & other animals.  Very athletic and gentle temperaments.
